We spent 10 days in Nicaragua and spent a total of $483. That means that we spent on average about $48 per day. Finally, after blowing our budget in Guatemala and Honduras, we were back on track!
Our largest expense was food & drink ($250), followed by living expenses ($84 – all camping), then transportation ($71 — we didn’t purchase gas, but we put the truck on the ferry to Ometepe).

The chart on the right will break down whatever primary category you select (just click on a wedge slice in the pie chart on the left). Some reports that these charts aren’t working on Android devices; I’m sorry but I don’t own one yet so I can’t test it.
