Budget: Nicaragua

We spent 10 days in Nicaragua and spent a total of $483.  That means that we spent on average about $48 per day. Finally, after blowing our budget in Guatemala and Honduras, we were back on track!

Our largest expense was food & drink ($250), followed by living expenses ($84 – all camping), then transportation ($71 — we didn’t purchase gas, but we put the truck on the ferry to Ometepe).

The charts below should break everything down.  The chart on the left shows the primary categories.  The chart on the right will break down whatever primary category you select (just click on a wedge slice in the pie chart on the left).  Some reports that these charts aren’t working on Android devices; I’m sorry but I don’t own one yet so I can’t test it.
